I have been playing wheelchair rugby for eight years.

I found the sport through the Help for Heroes after having a massive stroke. I couldn’t play any high impact sports anymore like rugby so I play in a wheelchair now.

It’s fast, high impact and rewarding. The thing is, in my wheelchair playing rugby, I don’t feel disabled at all.

My aim with wheelchair rugby is to play in the Premiership with the team.
